有一本1993年出版的英文书叫:The Art of Photographing Nature,作者是Martha Hill和大名鼎鼎的Art Wolfe。

1.
A、 A word of encouragement can give the subject the confidence to relax into a comfortable position.
B、 Though the pose is good, the subject is not relaxed. Note that her head is not really resting on her hand.

2.
A、 The hands are less obvious, and the model has also crossed one thigh over the other to improve the curve of her hips.
B、 Spreading the fingers along the front of the waist can be effective. Here it is a case of "too many fingers".

3.
A、 This pose, as well as fattening the legs because of foreshortening, is dominated by a pair of apparently huge feet.
B、 Simply by bending her knees away to the side, the model gets her feet in proportion, a far more graceful composition.

4
A、 Spreading the elbows outwards puts the arms in proportion, on the same plane as the body. They also frame the face.
B、 Flicking the hands casually through the hair gives a feeling of movement. But here the arms a foreshortened.

5
A、 Hands-on-hips often improves a picture - but you must be careful haw you do this. Here the mode appears to have backache.
B、 By turning the hand the other way, the model is no longer "nursing" her back. The sharp curve of her back is now concealed.

6
A、 When your model s legs are to one side, the feet should not point at the camera. They look untidy and the shape of the thigh is distorted.
B、 This angle is far better, with clean lines and a strong shape. The feet do not take away attention. The pose improves on the one of 3B.

A、 The model altered the tilt of her head so that the double chin disappeared and shadows around the jawline flatter her bone structure. The pose appears natural, though the model was conscious of stretching.
B、 Turning the body further towards the camera solves the problem of creases in the neck. Lifting the back of her head, she has now tucked in her chin, and seems to have a double chin!
C、 The model has corrected the shoulder, stretching out her neck to give a better shape. Unfortunately the angle of the body is too great for this to work; twisting her neck has created creases.
D、 Turning the body while the face looks directly into the lens tends to slim the body - but can bring problems. The shoulder is too hunched, and the neck seems to have disappeared, spoiling the picture.

8
A、 How not to hold the hands! Close to the camera the fingers look too big.
B、 Holding the hands edge-on to the camera looks neater, hands together, rings showing.

9
A、 It can be attractive to put hands to the face, but here they obscure the jawline and the fingers are obtrusive.
B、 Side-on the hands now allow the attention to go to the face. The chin rests only lightly in the hands.

10
A、 Masking the left thigh with her knee and pointing her toes gives the pose a far tidier line.
B、 From the front, the foreshortening makes the model s thighs and toes look much too big.

11
A、 Even the shapeliest of legs look better if they are positioned well. Like this, the model s slim legs look gawky.
B、 By keeping her knees together at a slight angle, in this shot she shows off her sleek calves. The pose is an elegant one.

12
A、 The knees together slims the pose; linking the hands makes a harmonious circle of the arms.
B、 Widespread legs and spread fingers make this pose look rather disjointed.

13
A、 Straightening up solves all this, and slightly turning the shoulders gives the arms a better line.
B、 A slouched back makes the model look rather weary and accentuates her stomach.

14
A、 By crossing the other leg the sole disappears. Angled arms and hands add life.
B、 Folded arms look dull and lack grace as does the clearly visible sole of the foot.
